Two new questions and I hope you will answer them.
I have a problem with the 404 page with the brown bound template. I doesn’t show up well.
The second question I have is if it is possible to donate some money to get the original code for the footer. The template is scripted XHTML valid but because of the encrypted code it isn’t possible to ad the google analytics code in a valid XHTML way.

i’d like to add a 2nd sidebar (with widgets) to the “pro red” theme. i only want one sidebar per page, but i’d like to have one on some of the pages and another on the rest. i’ve looked into it and tried a bunch off css tweaks to the functions.php and sidebar.php but couldn’t get it to work correctly. i don’t want the sidebar design to change at all.
i’m using wordpress 2.3.

Right hand side bar keeps showing at the bottom of the posts in IE6 , ie7 and Firefox work fine.
I have read a lot on this and it looks like there is an issue with IE -the way it handles the width in css file. I have tried playing with it but I am not able to fix the pb.

We know that there issues with our themes in older IE versions. But you have to understand that we physically cannot make free themes for all browsers, both old and new.
Just try to upgrade to the lates version of your browser and you should be fine.

I have a question though, the themes all show perfectly in firefox and safari but not internet explorer. I looked at your website under internet explorer 7, and it displays perfectly. (Well, not perfectly, IE will process Hexadecimal colors differently then Firefox will, this flaw as been around since IE4)
If you’re looking at it under IE6, especially one that is not fully updated, most websites that use CSS as their main form of styling will not display correctly. IE6’s CSS processing is a joke. When I was in college for web design, we called it “Infinite Errors”. Its common practice to first design something for Firefox first, then get it working for IE.
My suggestion is to find some script that will detect what browser the user is using, and have it display a page that asks them to switch, and if they want to know why, provide a link to your website being displayed incorrectly.

Hi! I have been pulling my hair out looking for the right theme. Then I found i-Talk and I hoped my problems were solved. However, there is a problem that appears insurmountable. I understand your desire to keep your links in the footer and certainly have no problem with it. But the encrypted PHP scheme that you have chosen to use makes it impossible to put the code required by Google Analytics just above the line, where they say you have to put it. Is there any way around this problem, or do I have to start looking again? ;o)

I’ve changed some colours but I haven’t deleted any of your code.
I recently started using the Rainbow Garden theme and I love it but I have a problem with the comment section. I’ve looked at the theme editor options, sidebar php for example and I don’t understand how to edit it. The comments can’t be read unless you highlight them and the text that you can read is neon green- too hard to see. Can you possibly tell me how to fix this? I’d be happy with a white background for the comments with regular old black text. And able to read them without having to highlight. Thanks so much for any help you can offer.

Try to edit the theme in “Presentation -> Theme Editor” in the wordpress admin interface.

I would like to use the “Everlasting Blooms” template but when I try to preview it the template that comes up is totally different from yours. It’s just a large blue horizontal line across the top of the page. I need to make sure it comes up as shown when downloaded. Is there any other way I can preview this template?

I really like your templates. I have downloaded the Rainbow Garden-theme for our litle literature club at the university where I study. I am using the ‘the entwining of two lives’ theme. I noticed that I can not edit the footer. I don’t want to remove the referneces to Web Hosting Geeks and Top WP themes already there, but I would like to add “Customized for ____ by (my website)” below that. However, if I add it to the footer code below the php, it isn’t displayed on the footer area. Is there any way you can modify that footer for me, or allow me to modify it?

@Bianca, I’m not the support person here, I’m the user that posted above you, but I removed the ad on my theme. It’s under Design > Theme Editor > Header.php
You can find the block of code in the “ad468″ div and comment it out.

@lordaya, i don’t really get the hint. You can create unlimited static html pages with wordress (convert the permalink structure of blog post ). Login to your admin panel, click write post, then option/ Permalink, choose custom and put /%postname%.html as custom structure. Alternative, you can try mod rewrite in htaccess.

Renee, yes, your email received and i did reply to your email couple days ago. Please advise url of Neosentials, Inc and photographer’s site. I usually spent half of the day making an awesome theme and then another few hours to distribute it and sometime I get nothing in return ( blog owner refuse to give credit to designers ). To be honest, this is not fair. Some scenario even worst - xxx modify the theme, remove the footer credit and resell the theme ( don’t get me wrong, i am not poiting the finger at you ). Therefore, i don’t have any other option and i have to encode the file ( the previous batch ). The latest batch is without encription and i do hope that everyone can give credit to designer. Williams, i believe your problem solved.

Thanks for the great wp theme!
The site has generated a “home” page that mirrors the welcome page i added. It mirrors all changes i make to the “welcome” page. I can’t figure out how to get ride of the Home page as it seems to be a default that does not show up in the manage pages list. If I delete the welcome page, it removes all content from the home page. I have the “welcome” page set as the static opening page.
Any ideas would be most helpful?

Having several issues w/the Zinmag Redux theme.
1) I’m not able to get the bottom.php include to show up on any page of my site. It’s coded into the index.php so the call is there but nothing shows up for content in that area in any of the 3 columns.
2) I’ve not been able to get the blocks of posts to show up below the Headlines Today section. I just keep winding up with my same old boring pages instead of the post boxes no matter what I do. I’ve temporarily reset the popularity all to “1″ since this is a new site there are only two blog comments. I believe I followed all instructions in the .pdf file but still no luck. Do I have to set a different template for the home page or something to make this work?
3) I haven’t got the glider working yet either, but I’ve not tackled the instructions for it either. I’m not so concerned about the glider right now, unless it somehow works off the post boxes and they have to have each other to work?
4) My “Add Comment” does not look at all like the one in the template. All I have is one big box instead of the Name, mail (hidden) (required) Website and THEN the textarea box. I prefer yours over mine. I’ve seen your same arrangement on many WP sites and I can see the code in comments.php yet mine sure doesn’t look like yours and the others I’ve seen!

I have placed my Adsense ID in the correct field, but the advertisements are not showing up.

I am wondering if someone could clue me in a tad bit info. For some reason the templates I have chosen are eluding my 100%. For instance on the Tribune template, How do you get the pictures in the little boxes and where do you upload them to? I am so out of my element. But am determined to finally set my blog up the way I want it…Thank you for your time and consideration. Your templates are fantastic and well put together.

I am using Voidix’s “More Orange” theme (heavily modified by myself).
However, I want to make the comments.php file support Wordpress 2.7. I have had trouble understanding how to use the new code given on the Wordpress Codex work with this theme. Would you please advise/instruct me.

Thanks for the great tips here. I have page where I have thumbnails of various free themes I am offering. I have tried various wordpress theme switcher plugins but none work quite the way you have your demo previews set up here. The demo preview works fine in a new page however it drops a cookie so that the theme of the whole site is changed to the previously viewed demo. How do I stop that from happening? How is yours set up. It’s perfect. Thanks.

In response to my earlier query:
I solved my issue by replacing the comments.php of “MoreOrange” with the same file from the default WP 2.7 theme. I now have threaded comments without having to do any coding.
I uploaded a couple of themes in content/themes but they are not showing up inpresentation. Any ideas why?

I downloaded a theme that says “wordpress Themes in the header.

Dude - you really need a support forum for each theme. Most of us are not computer geeks, but if you had a forum where most of the main questions everybody has is already answered - most of us could figure things out on our own. Elegant Themes has just that. Their themes are not free but the support is awesome. If you guys had a support forum like theirs that would be awesome. Love your themes by the way - just takes forever to get a site up and running on account of all the bugs/user errors and no targeted support.

i love the NatMag theme…ive installed it to my site…..but after installing my page has errors…seems like the
1) I cannot change colour, i have installed the Theme Switcher plugin
2) recent entries/recent comments/archives are all in one page instead of different categaories
3) my home/about toolbar - i cannot get the moving toolbar, when mouse over to page title/subMenu
4) if my pages/post have pictures, at main it will show in html code
5) Slide Post Category = is it same as our posting category?

I installed the SignsOfTheZodiac theme and it is perfect for what I wish to do. In the process of being altered.
If you click on the “About” page or any other tab, you will see a video start playing. How do I replace this video with a new one? do I need a certain widget to do this, or do I need to update a file? There is nothing on the dashboard which allows me to change the video or add resources for that matter.

I downloaded and am using “Trinity” theme but have two questions.
The babyblue side bar (right) can I make that more like 400 width instead of what current size it’s at? I cant find where to change this?

I downloaded NatMag theme published by you on March 12th.
Currently, my logo is not showing and I’ve spent hours trying to figure this out. The only thing I tweeked was the padding but that was for the .entry for the mini posts in the the CSS.

Ignore my above questions. I figured out that I had to go to ‘Appearance’ > NetMag Options > Logo and put in my logo.
I do however have a different question I probably won’t figure out on my own.
If you go to my site - sellu.net - you will see my logo, but it’s so far away from the Tagline. How do I close that gap?

I downloaded the zenremedy theme from some other website and it has this website as the people who designed it. I am changing he theme drasticly to fit my needs and it being a free download, opensource and part of wordpress I assumed this is okay. However there is a line of code in the footer that says I cannot reverse engineer or modify and it seems to effect my background and some key css theme color when i delete it. I am not familiar with this code. can you please provide away to eliminate this code without it effecting the theme?

I can’t find the RSS feed URL on my blog, which uses the epsilon wordpress them — is there one, or if not, how do I create it?
I thought creating and RSS feed was just a normal default for Wordpress, but has the Epsilon theme removed this function?

I recently downloaded your Corporate theme and for some reason there are a few things that aren’t working and I can’t pinpoint why. If you go to the site and compare it to: http://wpjunction.com/themes/corporate/ you’ll notice the image for the navigation (blue box/arrow) is not working as well as the three tabs on the right that you can flip through and are suppose to fade in and out. I wasn’t sure if someone could figure out the fix to these problems. Do they possibly conflict with a plugin? I haven’t touched the coding to the actual theme. Any help is very much appreciated.

I needed to add an extra post to the main page to make them 4. I was able to edit the css on the first default orange color. However when I switch the style of the page the css modification doesn’t work. Since the CSS of the other styles is not located under my site. Its located under Zirrus.com I beleive.

I have problems with the Tags inside the posts. On the homepage every post that contains a is messed up. It is displayed in columns, instead of rows, how a LI should be displayed. Can you fix that?
