    When I click the Dashboard link, it essentially breaks the dashboard, trying to style it like the page itself. Also gives me frequent MySQL or maybe PHP errors when I change plugin settings. It is awesome but too many headaches that need to be fixed… At least in my case.

    Does anyone know how to specify the images that are used for your posts in the ‘mycarousel’? I’ve looked in the options once the theme is activated and there is nothing there. I don’t know how to associte an image to a post. Can anyone help?

    To add the images to the slider you need to select a category for the sliding images, from the Admin Panel (See “Design” then “ProMag Theme Options”) Then when you create a post (or modify); Under the “Custom Fields” you need to put “thumbnail” in the name input-area, and the URL to image in “Value” input-area.

    This is a great theme BUT, there are lots of problems with Headers!!

    Warning: Cannot modify header information

    happens all the time.

    SOLUTION::

    There are two spaces in the end of file /ProMag/functions.php!!

    delete those two spaces after ?> and everything will be ok! ;)

    I love this theme. Thank you. One thing - I noticed my recent posts were not my recent posts, so I took a look at the function that builds the list (nice job, btw) and noticed that the Month and Day came before the year. I switched it to read …$request = “SELECT ID, post_title, DATE_FORMAT(post_date_gmt, ‘%Y %d %M’)…and that worked out. So, I thought I would throw that out there. Thanks again.

    @Allison: Check if you uploaded the whole unzipped thing, because INSIDE it there again are three folders - Readme, another one and Pro_Mag which is the real installing folder…

    But I have a question myself… If i try to get my images into the slider it seems that these are awkwardly distorted and I did not find any settings for image crop to change that… anyone help me out?

    Hi Ben
    You’ll be able to change the spelling of archives, if you go to the Wordpress themes on your server, then:
    NatMag
    NatMag
    includes
    widget-tab.php

    Download the widget-tab.php file, change it to a .txt file, open it up, amend the spelling, save and then change it back to a .php file and upload it back to the server.

    It did the trick for me.

    Does anyone know how to make the carousel work… not how to assign an image to a post. I have already done that…. but for some reason it is showing up as bullet points instead of the slider.

    I deleted a pluggin that I had installed and it fixed the bullet point problem. The slider is now working on: http://www.mybucketlist.ws
    However, I am still having problems with it on: http://www.7-seater-cars.info

    I fixed the carousel problem on http://www.7-seater-cars.info
    It is now working!! : ) I found that it was also a pluggin issue. I had installed the most recent Popularity Contest Pluggin and the carousel didn’t work. I deactivated it and it fixed carousel. I installed older version of Popularity Contest and it now works : )

    HOWEVER…. I have noticed that many of the newer pluggins break the carousel feature. If you are having problems getting the carousel to work (they are showing up as bullet points). You can probably fix problem but un-activating the pluggin. However, This is not ideal considering many of these pluggins may be a need! If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this issue so that we can use newer pluggins without breaking the carousel feature that would be great!!!
