I dont like this theme, its not very easy to change(like changing the images in sites.php ??)

And it has very much encrypted code in it, I dont like that because it could be malware.

Looks very nice, only just not compatible enough.. sorry.

Guys, e-storage wordpress theme have been nominated in a contest and therefore, e-storage version 2 with additional plug and play features ( e-storage plus ) was born. Please allow me to show you part of the special features of this theme. The plug and play style sheet switcher enable your visitors to switch between 20 pre-made color schemes with a single click. There is no plugins needed and no tweaking from the user end is required. Additional, the build in slider makes a slideshow out of arbitrary content on main landing page. The slider automatically rotates the contents until the user explicitly selects a content to view. “Manual” or “auto” display mode available. Blog owners can sell advertisement space via this ultimate function and it is very easy to edit/change. Please kindly contact us ( http://topwpthemes.com/contact-us/ ) if anyone need help in this matter. Free of charge. As for the encrypted code, it is not malware or virus. You can double check with http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus. We are clean. The main reason why i have to encode part of the important source code is to protect consumer rights. The license for all our themes is http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/ and i am aware of some “designers” rip off our themes, claimed something that they have no relationship to and resell it to third party or even company. I spend 4 days for this theme, release it for free, providing support at no cost and i believe this is fair. Please let me know if you have any question. My pleasure to help.

  8. SomeDutchon 03 Sep 2008 at 11:10 am

Ok, you’ve got a point there. Later on i got the slider working so therefore i take back my last comment about the slider.

I dont like encrypted footers because it forces you to use one footer. I rather add a link in the blogroll which has te same linkbuilding effect..

I didn’t know the website kaspersky..but it seems a good way to check it.

Thanks for the work on this theme, I’ll give it another try.

Great theme, never seen any better for free, im definatelly using it for one of my sites.

    Huge thanks

  10. SomeDutchon 05 Sep 2008 at 6:16 pm

One more question Roger, how do you edit the text “SITES OF THE WEEK” above the slider?

  11. Rogeron 05 Sep 2008 at 9:27 pm

SomeDutch, search on line 8 of index.php, the h2 tag must remained, else browsers may display the text in a large and bold font.

I love this template, just trying to learn how to use it. Is it possible to show an image in a post on the FRONT PAGE? If it is please show me how

    Thanks ~ le3on9

Very nice looking theme. I like the vibrant colors. Definitely worth giving a try. Thanks.

  14. Rogeron 07 Sep 2008 at 5:18 pm

Thanks guys. le3on9, sure. Please kindly contact me via http://topwpthemes.com/contact-us/ or http://www.zinruss.com/themes/contact-us if you need my help in this matter. I can show you an example. Off course, free of charge. e-storage version 3 ( e-storage pro ) will be release this month with additional plug and play features. No plugin required and you are able to use e-storage pro as a themes gallery if anyone interested to start a new templates stores or something.

Roger, in IE 6 the rows don’t match up (in the frontpage. Any idea how this can be fixed?

    Kind regards.

  16. Rogeron 08 Sep 2008 at 10:22 pm

Dutch, i don’t have ie6 in my local workstation. http://www.wikihow.com/Downgrade-to-Internet-Explorer-6. I believe i will lose some functionality of my pcs here if i “jump” between versions. Do you mind to offer your helping hand? Please contact me via http://www.zinruss.com/themes/contact-us and i will let you know my skype id. Then i will modify the theme online and can you preview it on my behaft? Theme look perfect in IE7 but i’m not sure about IE6

Hello Roger, I have been using this template for 2weeks and I manage to tweak most of the codex. However the link “PREVIOUS ENTRIES” in the main page doesn’t function and the links “PREVIOUS ENTRY and “NEXT ENTRY” on post are missing. I have sent the query to you using the URL you mentioned above and I hope you are able to help me. Thank you.

  18. SomeDutchon 09 Sep 2008 at 3:58 pm

    Hi Roger,

I will contact you this week to fix the IE 6 problem.

    I’ m a little busy right now.

  19. Rogeron 09 Sep 2008 at 4:40 pm

Woken, this theme have been fix to have 3 columns on main landing page and 2 columns on all subpages. I’m using the command to display the latest posts on main landing page ( off course, you have the option to fix how many posts to be display ). You can put a link “All Entries” in the main page and point it to archieve ( an example in email ).

  22. Jamieon 18 Sep 2008 at 6:52 am

This theme is kind of BS. A lot of the images are pulled in from themes.zinruss.com; they’re not hosted on your site. So that means your site depends on his. If his site goes down, your site looks like sh!t. This also allows him to track your sites performance as well as who visits your site.

I’d use this theme only if it did not depend on images from another site. It’s also easy to see some of the obfuscated code. For example just run:

    $> php footer.php

on a linux command line to see the code. It’s just base64_encoded. Just run base64_decode on the string and you can see what it looks like.

    muito bom esse tema
    http://www.conexaovip.com/blog

  24. Rogeron 19 Sep 2008 at 11:38 am

Jamie, images pulled from my high specs dedicated server in canada does not allow me to track who visit your site. Please pay attention before giving false claims. The license for all our themes is http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/ and i am aware of some “designers” rip off our themes in the past few months, claimed something that they have no relationship or even resell the design to company. This is unfair and i am talking about consumer rights. I spent around 4 business days to create this premium theme and released it for free. Additional, i’m providing one on one free support via skype if anyone need my help to customize the theme. What i really hope is appreciation from blog owners, not increasement of rip off themes.

  25. laurenon 20 Sep 2008 at 12:47 am

oh, thanks for letting me know the footer is encrypted. i learned my lesson on those long ago and wont do it again :(

  26. wpqueston 23 Sep 2008 at 12:04 am

I am not sure what happened today, but, I was using this theme and the server couldnt find the page. I checked the zinruss.com website, it too was down….so it appears that what Jamie said might actually have some truth to it. some of the pictures, not sure which, it has to be pictures from the theme but not the sites screenshots…some of the themes images are pulled from the zinruss.com website - and if their site is down, then so will be whoever uses this theme.

I didnt know that this theme depended on someone elses site (other than my own) being up. what a bummer.

i checked many times throughout the day if the zinruss.com site was back up…no luck, so i had to switch themes or else my site would be just a blank white page that took forever to try to connect to the (apparently zinruss.com server)….no luck.

i checked again, and now the zinruss.com (makers of this theme website) is already up….and so i guess i can change back to this theme if i wanted…but whats to say that the zinruss.com server wont go down again….and there goes my site again….

I think it would be best to stick to a theme that depends only on your server being up…and not for people to have to depend on the zinruss.com server to be up.

this is a bummer. the theme is cool but if it doesnt work all the time..and your site is down, all the pretty stuff is pointless.

Is there a way to work around this and have the images that are pulled from the zinruss.com server just pull from my own server?????

Please let me know. I would really like to use this theme, but, am afraid to.

Your comments would be greatly appreciated.

Dont get me wrong, the theme works pretty great - except that if you add more widgets on the sidebar, the color theme widget disappears and becomes unusable. Cant a color just be picked and for that to be the default? if so would i have to change the orange default color image with a photo editor then upload the image again ? Please let me know.

I am sure there has to be a way to be able to host all theme images on my own server…..let me know how please.

    Thanks !!!!!!

  27. Rogeron 23 Sep 2008 at 12:08 pm

The plug and play style sheet switcher enable your visitors to switch between 20 pre-made color schemes with a single click. The default color scheme is orange and the images come with the theme zip file. The rest 19 color schemes images store on my high spec dedicated server. You can disable the swich color schemes function in sidebar.php if you don’t want to want to allow your visitors to switch colors. The option is there. Please double check. One more thing. The style sheet switcher use the orange scheme by default and your site should be working even my site is down ( hardware upgrade or server reboot ). In other word, the theme will not pull the rest color schemes images from my server if your visitors don’t click on the change colors function. Please let me know your url. It would be my pleasure to guild you in the same fashion as i have guild my clients.

This theme’s sidebar cannot be viewed correctly when using the Safari Browser (mac).

Instead of it displaying on the top right side as it should - it is all the way on the bottom right of the page.

The them is ok on Firefox Mozilla. Any idea how to fix viewing problem for this themew with Safari????

  29. wpqueston 26 Sep 2008 at 1:18 am

One other question…if you dont mind. When I add a widget to the sidebar through the admin panel for wordpress, this makes the sidebar with the Color Scheme, Featured News and Featured Video not appear on the sidebar.

How do I fix this? Does this mean that if I add additional widgets on the sidebar the ones listed above wont work?

Anyone know how to fix this? So that I can use the above and also add more widgets to the sidebar…

I like the theme very much. I am new with coding and stuff that’s why I think it’s a little complicated for me. I just want to appreciate your effort.

Thanks a lot for giving such a wonderful theme free - that’s the best point -

    Have a nice day!

PS: I will give it a try for sure when I get to know how coding thing works.

  31. Fluffyon 28 Sep 2008 at 10:28 pm

Hey Roger. Let me just say that this theme is BRILLIANT! By far the best I have ever seen. It is particularly perfect for artists, and I’m going to be merging it with gallery.menalto and other image scripts to make it my company portfolio website. :) This has saved me a bundle and a lot of time. Thank you again!

To those complaining about the complexity of this theme: I’d hate to say it but that’s kind of the trade-off. If you really want a theme THIS nice, then you’re going to be expected to know a touch of coding to edit it PERFECTLY to your tastes. I mean, you can’t really expect something this brilliant for free and have it be so simple to edit. However, Roger is being extremely kind in offering advice for editing the template for free as well. So I’m not saying that if you don’t know coding you should ignore this theme either. :) It’s quite an impressive work of art and is definitely worth giving a try. That being said though, if you aren’t script friendly at all and get lost easily, I would apt for something simpler than this.

Anyhoo, fantastic job Roger! I appreciate all the work you put into this.

Quoting Fluffy “If you really want a theme THIS nice, then you’re going to be expected to know a touch of coding to edit it PERFECTLY to your tastes. I mean, you can’t really expect something this brilliant for free and have it be so simple to edit.”

Such confidence made me curious enough to check out results of Fluffy’s customization given her knowledge of coding and script friendliness….

But, was disappointed that there has been no customization done as of yet on Fluffys site other than just change the Name on the Header.

Look forward to seeing the progress !

Does anyone know how to change the default colour from the default orange to another colour ie DodgerBlue and then also remove the option of colour change from the sidebar so that the user cannot change this option.

I have been playing around with this for quite a while and I have managed to alter the front index.php page layout from a two column to a one column layout, however when you then change to any other colour this reverts back to a two column layout within the index.php page. Is fixing the colour to another colour possible ? I have tried to remove the colour change option but everytime I do this I get script code errors. Any help appreciated as other than these issues this template is exactly what I need.

  34. Debon 13 Oct 2008 at 2:54 pm

Can someone please tell me where the instructions are for the Plug and Play Slider and the color schemes? I installed the template but these things did not show up. I’m assuming I must have to do something to make that happen. I see that these things are supposed to be plugnplay, but do I have to get them from somewhere and install the plugin before these things will work?

I LOVE the layout on this page:

    http://www.zinruss.com/demo234/

Is there a page already in the theme for this or is it a custom? The part I’m talking about is double column of boxes for the posts on the left side. I love it and I haven’t seen a template page for it in the theme.

I might be missing this stuff because I tried using it on an existing site. Perhaps one needs to use this for a new site instead?

    Thank you.

  35. Theresaon 24 Oct 2008 at 4:53 am

Absolutely love it! :) Great job and thank you so much for offering it for free. You are gifted and have thought of everything. I did find changing the code hard, but that’s simply because I’m dim witted when it comes to php :( but I got through it! The only thing I still can’t figure out is how to change the advertise and contact pages or linky thingabobs. lol. I will perservere.

Ultimately a fantastic blog, very high tech and modern looking. This is me “singing your praises” and anyone who says differently really doesn’t realize what they are getting for FREE (high quality). Tiny slap on the wrist of the nay sayers. Yeah, I mean you. lol.

    woot!

  36. NookieNoteson 24 Oct 2008 at 10:25 pm

Roger, I love this theme. I have a few questions.

    1. Will it be easy to remove the color switcher? I prefer to have a set look.

    2. I will be greatly modifying the overall look of this theme to fit a concept I have in mind. Is it possible to change the footer so that it still has a link to you, but specifically states the them has been customized for the blog I plan to use it on, such as:

E-Storage+ theme designed by Web Hosting Geeks and Customized for ThisSite.com

    Thank you.

I have just downloaded it. thks! nice theme. I do not have the color changer in my blog. Is it just me or I have done something wrong??

  40. SomeDutchon 17 Nov 2008 at 11:22 am

I fixed the IE6 problem with the columns (finally). Just edit the following in the CSS:

    Search for this field:

    #content .postindex {

    Then edit the following:
    margin: 0px 3px 6px 3px;

    change this into:

    margin: 0px 2px 5px 2px;

Save the CSS and the problem of the columns in IE6 is fixed.

  41. tina smithon 17 Nov 2008 at 11:28 am

OMG. I cannot believe how many of the components of this template are dependent on Zinruss.com. The basic automatically rotates and the pre-made color schemes. These are simply scripts that are freely distributed from other JavaScript website. On one of the comments, the author said you can disable these but what he did not say is that disabling this script will mess up some of the tables and make the template looks horrible.

One question for the author is that why is he hiding the basic JavaScript from the end-user of this script? Is it that he may be illegally claiming ownership for these scripts?

I will be taking down this spam template out of my site as soon as I find another template that suits my need. Even word press do not ties it script the way this author did.

BAD BAD BAD IDEA TO USE THIS SCRIPT.
